Endorsements for my petition to become a Director candidate

"I have the pleasure of knowing Martin Bastiaans for many years as an academician and as an IEEE volunteer. There is no doubt in my mind that he will be an effective and successful R8 director. Therefore, I endorse his petition, and would like to see his name on the ballot as the third name, in addition to two other excellent candidates that the IEEE Region 8 Committee has already identified."

I sincerely thank Levent Onural, Marc Apter, Jens Hannemann and Lewis Terman for endorsing me, when I was trying to become a Director-Elect candidate. After having reached the required number of signatures, I am officially a candidate (by petition, i.e., nominated directly by the members) and I do no longer acquire endorsements.
 
It is now the time for the IEEE members themselves to speak.
